Shipping Instructions
UPS is our preferred shipping carrier for the heads.
Shipping your head to Flesh and Bones Taxidermy is very simple. Simply follow the steps below.
1. Remove all of the hide especially around the antler post.
2. Remove eyes and tongue.
3. Wrap the solid well frozen head in multiple plastic bags to prevent leakage.
4. Place your skull in a basic plastic tote, which can be purchased from any discount store for around $5. Ship your skull on a Monday and we will receive it still frozen by Friday. YOU MUST CALL US PRIOR TO SHIPMENT SO WE CAN TRACK YOUR PACKAGE. When the processing is finished we will ship it back to you in the same tote. In the winter, you can send it UPS ground, but in the warmer months it must be sent 3 day delivery. DO NOT USE SALT on skulls. Write "taxidermy items" on the outside of the box.

Terms and Policies
- Average turn-around time for skulls is 3-4 months. However on rare occasions it may take longer due to higher volume.

Accepted payments include: cashier’s check or money order.

Any items that are not paid in full or picked up within 90 days of notification will become the property of Flesh and Bones Taxidermy. You will be notified by phone and/or e-mail when your item is finished.

All skulls will be processed in the order in which they are received.

Remove the cape, eyeballs and tongue, and as much meat as possible to save on shipping cost. (All capes must be removed.) In doing this it will speed up the time it takes for your order to be completed.

We are not responsible for any damages to the skull during shipping.

For maggot infested skulls the charge will be $150.00.
